E14 Fund (e14fund.com) is the early-stage venture capital firm from and for the MIT / Media Lab startup community. Our mission is to serve the whole MIT / Media Lab community; our business model is investing in a subset of the community. We invest in scalable, deep tech startups and donate a portion of profits to MIT.

About the Role

Do you love science and the way it can change the world? Are you a tireless learner who is curious about new technologies and how they shape and reshape industries? Are you interested in learning about the startup and venture capital industry and how they work? If so, we want to talk with you about the E14 Fund VC Fellowship. E14 Fund VC Fellows are graduate students, postdocs, and MBAs from diverse backgrounds who are action-oriented learners with a few hours a week to spend: - Shadowing E14 Fund Managing Partners and learning the mechanics of venture - Gaining experience throughout the full cycle of startup fundraising - Connecting with potential founders in the MIT community and sourcing startup teams for investment opportunities - Identifying investment themes and thesis and conducting due diligence on startups - Building networks and community including organizing your own events - Engaging with portfolio companies to solve go-to-market challenges and meet milestones - Investing! You’ll have the opportunity to write checks (fellowship checks)
