Boom is on a mission to level the playing field for the 110 million renters in the US by making housing more flexible, affordable, and attainable. We’ve started by building an app that enables renters to build credit with the rent payments they already make, reporting to all three credit bureaus. Our next product, now in Early Access, enables renters to split their rent into smaller, stress-free installments and squash late fees that can total up to $150 per month. We’re backed by some of the biggest names in the fintech / angel landscape, with funding led by William Hockey and Zach Perret (Co-founders of Plaid), and joined by folks like Harry Stebbings (Twenty Minute VC), and other angels/operators (Cash App, Mint House, Knotel, Party Round).
