Intro to Making and Hardware Ventures - Fall 2023

Introduction to Making and Hardware Ventures" (15.351) is a highly immersive, hands-on introductory course for undergraduate and graduate students in any course of study. If you are curious about how to make physical things, make them work and integrate them with electronics / software, you've come to the right place. The objective of this class is to help novice makers build confidence in their ability to create physical prototypes with a variety of making skills, and prototyping tools and processes. Students will also be briefly introduced to the rich resources on campus, including makerspaces, additional classes and seasoned makers and product development and manufacturing experts. These resources can support them in their journey to become expert makers if they so choose. Success means students will know what tools are at their disposal for their next making project.
