About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Engineer with deep expertise in data engineering, data science, analytics, and AI/Generative AI. If you are passionate about building data-driven solutions and have a strong background in Python, SQL, and data pipeline tools, This is the perfect role for a mid-career software engineer who’s ready to take on the challenge of joining a startup team and unlock a massive digital payment opportunity in our markets. Job Description: ● Implement data pipelines for efficient data collection, processing, and storage. ● Analyze payments data to create credit scoring models and risk assessment tools. ● Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time business insights. ● Utilize machine learning techniques to identify patterns and optimize user experience. ● Work closely with engineering and business teams to drive data-driven decisions. What You Can Expect in the Role: ● You will support the tech team to lead the platform development of Kura’s functioning platform to full features. ● You will directly engage with the founding team, users, and customers to understand their needs, in order to deliver solutions that truly make a difference. ● You will build with the tech team, the platform from the ground up, including: infrastructure, security, backend, frontend, and tech vendor management. ● You will actively contribute to the product and technical strategy.
