About the Company/Team

Hi, I’m Mateo and I am working on CarePrice, a platform that connects dental offices with uninsured and underinsured patients. Over 69 million Americans do not have dental insurance and many do not receive proper care, which perpetuates oral health issues. Through market research, we found that many would like a platform to compare prices, see financing options, and interact with other users and friends and family. Hence, this platform uses AI and public data to provide price comparisons, give personalized service recommendations, and have a social aspect. I’m in a team with 5 other software engineers at Harvard developing this product, using FastAPI, React, Auth0, and Vercel for security, scalability, and easy deployment.
