About the Company/Team

Lyra Labs is developing a state space model-based architecture that dramatically outperforms transformers in AI sequence modeling. Our technology is 65x faster on average than traditional transformer models and up to 100,000x smaller than leading biology foundation models, while achieving state-of-the-art results. In testing across approximately 100 tasks, our approach set the best performance on over 60. With pre-seed funding already secured and strong industry connections, we're currently focused on applications in finance and biotech while building out our engineering and product teams.
