About EQORE EQORE is building the future of commercial and industrial energy storage. We provide full-service, intelligent energy storage systems designed to deliver superior ROI, minimizing electricity costs without disrupting operations. By streamlining the process from design through ongoing optimization and focusing on profitability, we address common industry hurdles and empower businesses with unprecedented savings. Our goal is to establish and manage a large network of distributed batteries on the grid, operating both behind the meter to serve individual customer needs and in front of the meter as a Virtual Power Plant. We aim to unlock the highest value from these assets, maximizing economic and grid-stability benefits, enabling the rapid and large scale deployment of energy storage. Our investors include the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center as well as high-visibility angels, and we are actively supported by a variety of entrepreneurial organizations at MIT and beyond. About the Team We are led by three founders with diverse and deep technical backgrounds. Their experience spans cutting-edge engineering roles at companies like Tesla, Apple, and CapitalOne, coupled with 10 years of combined entrepreneurial and execution expertise in project management and construction. We are a high-energy group passionate about tackling complex problems in the energy sector. In our lean team, every member plays a critical role and has a direct, outsized impact on our success and direction. We thrive on intensity, rapid iteration, and solving hard challenges together.

About the Role

Job Description We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Account Executive to head sales at EQORE. As our first dedicated sales hire, you will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, building relationships with commercial and industrial customers, and closing deals that bring energy storage onto the grid. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you will: * Lead new customer acquisition from prospecting to closed contract. * Define and refine sales channels, identifying new approaches to market penetration. * Collaborate directly with the founding team to design our go-to-market motion and messaging. * Develop repeatable processes that will allow EQORE to scale sales efforts rapidly. We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is both a strategist and a doer, and is motivated by the chance to accelerate the transition to clean energy. You will: * Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close accounts with commercial and industrial customers. * Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through outbound efforts and partnerships. * Identify new sales channels, verticals, and market approaches for EQORE’s energy storage solutions. * Work closely with the leadership team on product pricing, deal structuring, and proposals. * Represent EQORE at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. * Create collateral such as presentations, case studies, and ROI analyses to support customer decision-making. * Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and strategy.

Requirements * Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (energy, technology, or industrial sectors preferred). * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. * Comfort selling complex solutions with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. * Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to operate independently, wear multiple hats, and build processes from scratch. Further desirable qualifications include: * Experience with commercial/industrial energy, energy storage, or energy markets. * Prior work at an early-stage startup or scaling company. * Familiarity with project finance, ROI modeling, or SaaS-like recurring revenue sales. * Existing network in commercial/industrial facilities, utilities, or energy developers.
