Möbius Industries is building an automated, full-stack recycling process designed to revolutionize urban mining and replace traditional mining-based material economies. We're developing new computer vision and robotics technology to enable leading edge critical material recovery from industrial and consumer scrap. Founded at MIT by Matthew Pierre-Louis (class of ’26), it has since grown to feature top talent from all over the country. We’ve recently closed our pre-seed round with $3.8M!

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing new software across a variety of domains such as computer vision/ML/AI, full-stack/backend/cloud services, and embedded/robotics. While we prefer if you had experienced in all the listed domains, it's not required. What we're really hoping to find in you is a drive to learn new skills and grow your own potential and confidence as a software engineer. Such potential can be demonstrated already through impressive class projects, project portfolios, code repositories, leadership positions, etc.

The role is an hourly paid part-time position where we expect you to put around 15 hours a week. The actual hours are flexible, as long as you own your work and deliver good results. We're located on Mass Ave just down the street from MIT at The Engine. Reach out if you have further questions!
