About the Company/Team

Goal is to build a vertical SaaS platform that streamlines the engineering design-review and project closeout workflow for large capex intensive utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects. Today, large renewable infrastructure projects rely on fragmented tools (email, Bluebeam, Procore, spreadsheets) to manage multi-party drawing reviews, comment reconciliation, QA/QC, and compliance documentation. This results in delays, rework, and costly inefficiencies across EPCs, Owner’s Engineers, Independent Engineers, and developers. The solution is a product that brings structure, version control, automation, and AI-assisted reconciliation to an industry that still operates on manual, error-prone processes. The goal is to become the standard design-to-closeout workflow engine for renewable infrastructure. The idea is still in the early validation phase with industry partners and I'm looking for a technical/product cofounder to shape the MVP and own the build.

About the Role

This is a founding product/technical role. You will work directly with the founder to validate assumptions, translate real-world pain points into product requirements, build a prototype/MVP, and engage with early design-partner customers (EPCs, developers, engineers). The role covers early product strategy, UX flows, lightweight prototyping, and eventually leading or contributing to the technical build. You’ll have significant autonomy, the opportunity to define core architecture, and real ownership in a climate-tech SaaS company from day zero. This is ideal for someone who wants to be a true co-founder, not just a contractor or intern.

This is a rare chance to build a real company in a sector undergoing massive transformation. Utility-scale solar and battery projects represent one of the fastest-growing segments in energy, but the supporting software stack is outdated and ripe for disruption. You’ll be working with a founder who manages large-scale BESS and solar projects and has deep insight into industry workflows, customers, and pain points. You’ll get immediate access to real users, real projects, and potential design partners — meaning your technical work will translate directly into early traction.
