Sabanci Climate Ventures is looking to hire a Summer Associate to support its venture team. SCV is a $200M corporate venture capital fund, investing on behalf of Sabanci Holdings, a $40B annual revenue energy and industrial conglomerate headquartered in Turkey. Their main business units include energy generation (5 GW under management in Turkey, the US, and EU), utility (25 million customers in Turkey), energy trading, cement production, EV manufacturing, and more. Our venture fund invests in Series A-Series D startups that bring potential strategic value to our businesses.

About the Role

Responsibilities include: Build 1-2 investment theses in the energy and grid tech space that culminate in an investment recommendation for the team Support SCV team on sourcing and due diligence for companies in the later stages of the pipeline - including financial modeling, technoeconomic analysis, market sizing, and more Prepare new and follow-on investment memos alongside the deal managers Work collaboratively with SCV portfolio companies to add value

Full-time for 10 weeks, remote OK but preference for being in the northeast to attend events in the region Looking for a current grad student who will also be enrolled in the 2026-2027 academic year Reporting to Drew D'Alelio, Investment Manager and East Coast Lead Preference for someone with energy industry experience and ability to "learn fast" on the finance and technology sides of the role Email ddalelio@sabancict.com with your CV and a paragraph of why you'd be a great fit by no later than March 6
