ALAR AI is building an AI-powered platform to help pharma and biotech teams design high-quality clinical trial protocols faster and more effectively. We combine structured data from available sources with tens of thousands of full clinical trial protocols to power intelligent search, analysis, and automated drafting tools. Our system helps teams: - Analyze the clinical trial landscape for a given drug or disease Identify and benchmark similar trials - Generate FDA-quality protocol sections (e.g., inclusion/exclusion criteria, study design, schedules of events) - Iteratively refine trial designs with expert-in-the-loop feedback We’re focused on becoming the core AI layer for clinical development, starting with protocol design.

About the Role

We are looking for a co-founder to join a small, fast-moving team at an early stage. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with an industry expert and a technology expert to shape the direction of the company. Responsibilities will span across developing the pitch deck, brainstorming and refining the core solution, participating in and leading client discovery and primary market research (PMR), and helping prepare for our first fundraising round and accelerator applications. We are currently preparing an application for MIT Delta V. This role is intentionally flexible—there is significant opportunity to define your own focus and grow into leadership as the company evolves.

You’ll be joining a founding team that combines deep industry expertise and strong technical capability, with a clear goal of building and scaling a venture-backed company. We are actively working toward early traction, fundraising, and accelerator programs. This opportunity is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs—no prior entrepreneurship or industry experience is required. We value curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn. The existing founders are committed to mentoring and bringing you up to speed quickly, making this a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on startup experience while contributing meaningfully from day one.
