Joan LaRovere

Bio

Dr. LaRovere is the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Transformation at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as an attending physician in Cardiovascular Critical Care and Harvard faculty member. She was previously Chief of Pediatric Intensive Care at the Royal Brampton Hospital in London and on the faculty of Imperial College Medical School. Dr. LaRovere is Co-Founder and Vice-President of Virtue Foundation, an NGO with Special Consultative Status to the United Nations, where she is focused on a data-driven, evidence based approach to development, with a special focus on applying AI, machine learning and data science to global health. Dr. LaRovere is a Healthcare Operating Partner with iSelect Fund, a venture firm investing in healthcare and agriculture, and a board member to LifeMD, a publicly traded virtual primary care company.
