Yunus Sevimli

Bio

Yunus Sevimli is a multi-disciplinary entrepreneur, mentor and inventor. He has experience in translational research, software/hardware development, IP strategy as well as navigating medical and financial regulations. Yunus previously worked in two early stage startup companies in the realm of medical devices and surgical robotics. Currently, he is the cofounder and CTO at Almond Finance, working on borderless financial inclusion and economic opportunity in developing regions, along with classmates from MIT and Harvard. As a recent graduate of the MIT Sloan MBA program, he has received awards and grants from the MEMSI program, PKG IDEAS Challenge, Sandbox Innovation Fund and the delta v accelerator. He also holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
