BrightSpot is a LinkedIn for visual artists that fosters an artistic community, enables consistent employment connections, and enhances artistic visibility in one unified platform.
Problem
After conducting research, we found that the two biggest priorities for visual artists are a cultivated creative community and consistent employment. A lack of time and a reliance on word of mouth are the foremost challenges that hinder visual artists from achieving these priorities.
Opportunity
BrightSpot is a tiered subscription platform that offers flexibility in centralizing artistic promotion, fostering reliable community building (both within an artist's medium and among different types of artists), while providing personalized and consistent employment opportunities (galleries, job postings, sale of work, etc.).
