CheckItApp

Never miss a connection again

Idea in Apps

Introduction

The app enables users to exchange social media accounts easily and records first conversations while providing conversation topic recommendations for next time. Notifications appear when both parties are close, helping users recall names and backgrounds and increasing the chances of reconnecting.

Problem

Current problems that arise when talking to new people or meeting them again include the time-consuming process of exchanging social media accounts, which can lead to missed opportunities to connect, especially at large events crossing lots of new people.

A lack of identifying information other than a name could make it difficult to search someone who you met. Additionally, forgetting someone's name or details from a previous interaction can cause social awkwardness during subsequent meetings. We sometimes struggle to find common topics of interest to both parties even if we remember the name of others. Overall, there is a need for a more efficient and memorable way to exchange contact information and keep track of new connections made at events.

Opportunity

Creating the app to record the first conversation and recommend topics for the next conversation, helping users to remember what they talked about and allowing them to smoothly start a conversation the next time especially for diversified and global communication.

In addition, pop-ups appear when both users are close to each other, giving users a minute to recall the other person's name and background before the second encounter. This eliminates the awkwardness of forgetting someone's name and increases the likelihood of reconnecting with people.

Of course, using our tag, users can exchange multiple social media accounts with just one touch, eliminating the need to open the smartphone lock screen, open the app, and read the QR code.

Our app collects the location and time of contact exchanges along with the social media accounts exchanged, so users can easily recall the details of their real-world encounters. This keeps the information separate from their social media accounts.
