Build lasting connections—one step at a time
Dare2 is an AI-powered matchmaking platform transforming running into a connected, communal experience. Born from the passion of the founders, who met during the MIT program, Dare2 solves a critical challenge: runners' difficulty in finding compatible partners who match their pace, schedule, and goals.
Having refined their concept through the MIT Fuse accelerator, the Dare2 team has achieved significant milestones, including securing partnerships with major race organizers, onboarding over 400 users without paid marketing, and generating early revenue.
Now, Dare2 seeks to accelerate its momentum at MIT delta v, with the goal of launching a fully functional app, deepening community engagement, and establishing itself as the leading platform connecting runners everywhere.
Runners often face challenges finding suitable training partners or groups that align with their schedules, pace, and goals, making training a solitary and less consistent experience. Traditional running apps primarily focus on individual performance tracking and do not facilitate real-world connections, leaving many runners isolated. Conversely, running clubs offer structured community but often impose rigid schedules, fixed training locations, and limited pace groups, posing barriers for runners with unpredictable or busy routines. Consequently, runners struggle to maintain motivation, consistency, and enjoyment in their training.
Dare2 utilizes advanced AI-powered matchmaking to connect runners effectively based on pace, location, personality, availability, and specific training goals. To quickly establish a vibrant user base, Dare2 partners strategically with local running clubs and major race organizers, offering runners a convenient way to find compatible training partners. Additionally, Dare2 integrates comprehensive pace and activity data from popular running apps like Strava and Runkeeper, ensuring precise and personalized matching. By addressing common issues with rigid club schedules and mismatched running partners, Dare2 provides flexible, on-demand connections tailored to each runner's needs. This targeted approach helps running clubs attract new members organically and supports race organizers by enhancing participant training experiences. As Dare2 grows, it will extend its community to independent runners, travelers, and newcomers, fostering smarter training, accountability, and meaningful relationshipss
