Problem
EquiHire is solving the "Pedigree Tax" in engineering hiring. The current B2B process is severely expensive, inefficient, and biased. It takes 60-90 days and costs $10,000+ per hire. This system over-indexes on prestigious brands (schools/companies), unfairly filtering out skilled talent. Companies are left with a smaller, more competitive talent pool, resulting in high costs and a lack of diversity, while the process itself fails to measure organizational fit.
Opportunity
EquiHire solves these problems by using Agentic AI to overhaul the technical screening process. It replaces the biased, low-signal resume screen and static tests with a dynamic, conversational AI interview. This agent acts as a human interviewer, adapting questions and probing thought processes in real-time.
