Let's decode our hormones!

Idea in Health Care

Introduction

femmli leverages biosensor technology to track hormones continuously, enabling women navigating perimenopause to more accurately and confidently take control over their health and understand their bodies.

Problem

Despite hormones influencing nearly every aspect of women’s health, including mood, metabolism, brain health, cartilage health, fertility and cardiovascular risk, data on hormonal fluctuations across the female lifespan remains fragmented. Current diagnostic tools rely on one-off blood or saliva tests that fail to capture daily or cyclical variability, leaving providers with incomplete pictures and women with misdiagnoses or ineffective treatments. This gap has critical downstream effects: delayed detection of perimenopausal changes, trial-and-error prescription of hormonal therapies, and underrepresentation of female biology in clinical research datasets. The bottleneck comes from absence of continuous, real-world hormonal data integrated into healthcare and research systems.

Opportunity

At femmli, we imagine a world where every woman can finally understand what her hormones are trying to say. We are exploring how AI can turn hormonal data into powerful, personalized insights that help women make sense of the changes happening in their bodies. By combining emerging biosensing technology that can continuously measure hormones with intelligent pattern recognition, we aim to reveal connections between hormones, mood, energy, and overall well-being that have long been overlooked. Over time, this data could not only help women feel more in control of their health but also fill one of the biggest blind spots in medical research by bringing precision medicine into the women’s health space.
