Technology platform for customizable golf scorecards at scale. Golf scorecard production has been unchanged for 30+ years. Cards should have a modernized design on quality material with more efficient production. They're also an overlooked yet high-value medium for advertisers.
Problem
Golf scorecard production has been owned by the same ~6 players for the past 40+ years, leading to poor designs and little innovation. Today, designing and iterating a scorecard is a manual process completed via Powerpoint. Adding advertising to scorecards is done manually and only at a hyperlocal level. Current producers have costly production processes (high domestic labor rates for customer success and production) and little use of technology.
Opportunity
Modernize the golf scorecard design and production market through a gen-AI platform to easily create customizable scorecards at scale. Offer optional advertising network to a subset of these scorecards, adding an incremental revenue stream to production and allowing favorable pricing power. Advertising on scorecards is an attractive medium for advertisers who have been affected by privacy and targeting regulations. Lower production costs by manufacturing overseas.
