Introduction
We are building the first AI-native, human-centered university designed specifically for educators and learning scientists, the professionals who shape societies. As AI transforms learning, the role of educators is evolving from content providers to human-centered facilitators. Yet the higher education market—even top universities—remains unprepared for this shift, offering outdated curricula that neglect both socio-emotional learning and educational technology, while maintaining institutional mindsets built for a pre-AI world.
Problem
An accelerating and critical teachers shortage (in quantity and quality)
Teachers are the first or second largest workforce in most countries. Traditional preparation programs can't match classroom realities. As AI transforms education, the gap between teacher training and real-world needs is widening at unprecedented speed
The system fails to attract and retain teaching talent (35% of US schools have teacher vacancies, Latin America needs 3+ million new teachers by 2030)
Teacher preparation is disconnected from student needs - both in foundational and modern competencies (adaptive, critical thinking, and AI/digital skills)
Current remedial solutions focus on retraining—most are ineffective and don't stick, while effective ones are highly costly and only for in-service teachers
Opportunity
Right from the start: We combine AI-native capabilities with human-centered pedagogy and immediate classroom application, producing classroom-ready educators more rapidly and cost-effectively than traditional programs. Our solution delivers value through three integrated features:
Human-centered curriculum: We develop critical socio-emotional competencies in teachers to support students thriving in the AI era through evidence-based, context-sensitive strategies. These capabilities are absent from current educational degrees, even at leading U.S. universities.
Early classroom immersion: We accelerate educator readiness through early placement in real classrooms and hands-on application. Leveraging an apprenticeship model with virtual synchronous instruction paired with in-person classroom practice, we achieve faster time-to-competency and more efficient preparation than traditional programs.
AI-powered dual advantage:
(1) Learning enhancement – An AI-powered learning journey that supports future teachers during coursework and classroom application (including AI Coaches that listen, guide reflection, and facilitate timely feedback), creating adaptive learning paths, real-time progress tracking, improved student outcomes, and scalable impact. Educational technology, and specially AIcapabilities are also absent from current general educational degrees, and are only offered for STEM teachers programs.
(2) Operational intelligence – AI-native operational architecture where core systems are built with AI from day one through custom agents integrated with CRM, LMS and other—designed for intelligence from the ground up. This achieves 10X efficiency and intelligent automation across workflows, outperforming traditional systems while enabling scalable global operations.
