Half of clinical trials fail from low enrollment, while countless patients remain uninformed of these treatment options. HealPath matches patients to suitable trials seamlessly while also empowering them to become proactive participants throughout their health journey.
Problem
Conventional methods and human frictions created a vast knowledge gap and access inequality in clinical trial enrollment. 50+% of trials fail due to low enrollment, yet only 25% patients even recognize them as treatment options. This leads to lost lives, wasted treatment time, and financial loss.
Opportunity
Using Gen-AI, we aim to transform clinical research patient recruitment and retention. By optimizing patient matching, we boost efficiency and reduce costs. Above all, we aim to empower patients, democratize access, bridge knowledge gaps, and foster a supportive community.
We will design a Gen-AI platform for patients to upload their EHRs. It uses VLM to extract information from the uploaded materials and uses LLM to create summary for each patient, match patients to suitable clinical trials, and provide a personalized companion in their health journey.
