Your Health in Your Hands
In countries such as India where healthcare infrastructure is insufficient to cater to the needs of all its citizens, we aim to create a personalized predictive health analytics platform with the aim of empowering patients to effectively utilize their own their data and ultimately improve healthcare outcomes. Our platform will aim to bridge the current gaps through 3 steps:
1) Create a unified and standardized digital data repository controlled by patients - Using simple OCR tools accompanied with speech to text software.
2) Build a Repeatable and scalable AI/ML engine - Our platform will analyze data across all sources – to create ‘Preventive vs Reactive’ healthcare opportunities.
3) Personalized content - We will aggregate data specific content based on individual patients’ health disposition and contextualize disease implications. We will also anonymously match Patients to others who in similar situations.
There are four critical problems that plague the healthcare industry:
1) Poor Data management: >600 M smartphone users in India but only handful store their data in one place
2) Low Health literacy: ~90% of patients have moderate to low levels of healthcare literacy
3) Constrained Infrastructure: There is only 1 Doctor for every 11,538 patients in the country and only 24 hours in a day!
4) Reactive vs Preventive care: Preventive healthcare is <10% of overall healthcare expenditure today
A personalized predictive health analytics platform that helps patients digitize and upload their data, review their medical status through interactive dashboards and gain insights into their current medical conditions through customized content and patient-to-patient engagement. Additionally, we will leverage the patient insights (anonymized) to identify areas most affected by communicable diseases such as TB, Hepatitis etc. to improve response rates for public and private sector initiatives and influence medical policies. Further, we will leverage open AI software to ensure data security and computational privacy to protect the rights of each patient.
