Introduction
We are building an AI-powered education pathway advisory platform for students and their parents in Asia. It delivers personalized, step-by-step guidance covering early planning, extracurriculars, academic arrangements, and passion projects. By leveraging AI to turn complex information into actionable plans, the platform makes education pathway planning more efficient and accessible while easing anxiety and delivering a positive experience.
Problem
Students and parents in Asia face three key pain points in education pathway planning: First, they lack access to accurate information and resources, struggling to obtain official data like school admission criteria or policy updates, leading to reliance on unreliable content. Second, traditional consultancy services are prohibitively expensive (typically $1,500–$3,000), creating a "privilege gap" that excludes average families. Third, non-academic preparation is insufficient: most students excel academically but miss out on dream schools due to unstructured extracurriculars or ill-planned passion projects that fail to meet target schools’ soft-skill requirements.
Opportunity
Our solutions comprise three interconnected AI-driven tools: The AI-Powered Smart School-Matching Engine integrates real-time official data and post-graduation outcomes from global universities combines it with students’ academic background, career goals and budget to generate a school list. The AI Profile Enhancement Hub pinpoints non-academic gaps by comparing students’ experiences to target schools’ requirements, and provides a tool to track and document impact to strengthen applications. The Adaptive Progression Planner creates roadmaps with clear tasks and deadlines, tracks progress via automated reminders, adjusts plans if milestones are missed, and includes a parent-facing dashboard to facilitate collaboration.
