There are 54,000 lone agricultural workers in Ireland. Due to inconsistent phone coverage and hazardous working conditions, delays in obtaining help can occur when it is most needed. Safe Trio Link has collaborated on a group project to address this issue and has developed the Link Vest.
Link Vest is a smart safety vest designed for farmers and lone workers. With a simple pull-cord activation, it sends an emergency alert and location information, helping users get assistance quickly in critical situations.
We're currently validating the product through customer discovery, prototype development, and pilot testing within the agricultural sector.

Problem
Last year in Kildare, a farmer fell from his tractor while working alone. Unfortunately, he couldn't reach his phone, and no one discovered him in time.
This is exactly the kind of situation the Link Vest by Safe Trio Link is designed to address. It automatically sends an SOS alert if something goes wrong, even if you are unable to call for help.
For just €365 a year, which is about €1 a day, the Link Vest provides farmers and lone workers with something invaluable: immediate backup when they need it most.
