Learn and Earn

Idea in Education

Introduction

Play-to-earn academic battle game for K12 learners

We will be organizing digital olympiads for middle school students. Much like Olympic athletes preparing (learning) for four years to compete at the olympics we want to give high school students the reason to study.

Our platform will give students the opportunity to compete with each other using their daily learnings in high school.

Problem

Why, do most students not enter competitive learning circuits? We talked to parents, teachers, coaches, and students, and they told us:

“The barrier to entry is too high”, “What is the advantage?, “What if students waste time?”, "I'm too busy".

Gallup Student Poll (2021): 53% of students feel disengaged in school. The percentage of students who are actively disengaged increases with grade level, with middle school students generally more engaged than high school students.

Lack of Relevance: According to the America's Promise Alliance (2020), 40% of students said they didn't see a connection between school and their future goals.

Opportunity

A platform for students to battle with each other using their k-12 curriculum backed learnings to earn real life rewards.

1. Problem difficulty ranges from simple to advanced theory

2. Only require a device with an internet connection

3. You compete against others at your level, and your main goal is to improve your rating

4. The battles happen every day, and you can play an arena match live instantly at any time!
