400 million kids per year are sexually abused. We would need to fill the Gillette Stadium to full capacity almost 6,000 times in order to visualize this statistic. Each one carries a new lifetime of trauma. If we could develop a way to help at least 1% of them, we would be helping 4 million kids from having their lives violated.
That is why we have created "tinyGuardian" an AI-powered app for children aged 4-8 that equips them with the tools to recognize grooming and abuse through interactive experiences with animated characters.
Using relatable experiences, our characters will teach kids about personal boundaries, consent, and appropriate relationships. Video and response based emotive detection technology will analyze interactions and flag concerning reactions at key points in the various video shorts. Immediately, tinyGuardian will provide caretakers with a risk assessment report. With this, we aim to identify dangerous interactions even before they fully develop into grooming.
Our team has deep experience in international entrepreneurship, product design, technology integrations and film production. We invite you to join us in our mission to protect one million children from the horrors of sexual abuse by 2030. Together, we can break one of the most vicious cycles that exploits the most vulnerable of our society.
Prevent sexual abuse by identifying children aged 4-8 years old who are at risk of being exposed to grooming, while at the same time teaching such children about personal boundaries, consent, and appropriate relationships.
Using the anthropological theory of proxemics, animated characters will be created through which relatable and interactive stories will be told to children in our beachhead market about grooming exposure and how to avoid it. The characters will interact with the children to elicit indications of whether they have been exposed to such behavior so that competent institutions (i.e. schools/psychologists) can react accordingly to such alert, while at the same time machine learning/AI will be identifying facial gestures responses children make to inappropriate behaviors so that eventually an automatic alert trigger can be embedded into the app.
