Introduction
Batteries for electric vehicles are the next frontier of innovation in the automotive industry. As part of the 2023 MIT Climate and Energy Hack, we ideated and began development on a generative AI enabled tool that aims to compress the timeline between material discovery and commercial implementation. Our world is in a climate crisis. Unbiased Cathode will help the world find solutions more efficiently.
Problem
Inefficient material research in the battery industry due to the absence of early-stage supply chain evaluation tools, wastes immense time and resources.
Opportunity
Unbiased Cathode facilitates research by using an LLM model to create a dynamic scorecard for each new material. This aids researchers and supply chain managers in understanding key supply chain parameters for each material before development starts.
