Personalized travel decisions with AI
With the proliferation of digital travel booking tools, it has become increasingly difficult for travel agents to remain relevant and add value for their clients. Recognizing this need, we created Volare, a software that uses machine learning to provide travel agents with personalized itineraries for their clients.
Most travel agents currently use travel booking software which relies on manual decision-making with limited filtering options making creating itineraries a time-consuming and complex process. With the widespread availability of digital travel booking tools, it has become increasingly difficult for travel agents to stay relevant with evolving digital travel booking tools. Through our first-hand experiences and interviews with professionals across the industry, we have seen that booking travel using current methods is a time-consuming process and difficult process. Current solutions do not personalize recommendations beyond coarse categories such as dates traveled or general descriptors. Volare assists travel agents by using AI to learn about their clients preferences and needs to provide personalized itinerary recommendations for their clients.
We plan to solve this problem by leveraging machine learning models to create personalized travel itineraries based on a client’s stated and inferred preferences. We will garner these preferences using client information, travel agent inputs, and historical booking data. As clients take more trips, our software will continuously refine its recommendations, empowering travel agents to anticipate and cater to clients' evolving needs more effectively. Our solution will streamline workflows and enhance customer satisfaction to help travel agents to stay competitive in the rapidly changing travel booking environment. Overall, Volare seeks to revolutionize the travel booking experience for both agents and travelers by providing a more efficient, personalized, and competitive solution tailored to the needs of the modern travel industry. We plan to initially focus on cruise travel agents, a segment where travelers still rely heavily on travel agents for bookings and where most bookings are set around defined sailing dates.
