Idea in Navigation and Mapping

Introduction

Bringing to market an MIT-developed technology to map indoor spaces without cameras.

Problem

Detailed real-time mapping of indoor spaces can provide very useful information, but it requires installing cameras in every corner to avoid blind spots. This is especially relevant in public settings such as retail stores, where having reliable mapping data can enable significant sales uplift if used adequately.

Opportunity

Our technology is capable of mapping indoor locations without the need for any camera, as well as movements within them. We are targeting a retail use case: making this data available to store owners/managers and providing a propietary software to extract the most out of it and boost sales.
