Introduction
“Wonder Homework” is an AI-powered learning companion that uses growth-oriented dialogue, not automatic praise, to nurture children’s curiosity and resilience during thier homework. Starting with a voice-based AI MVP, our long-term vision is a screen-free plush companion co-designed with educators and counselors.
Problem
Parents everywhere struggle to create consistent, meaningful learning moments with their children. Busy schedules, emotional fatigue, and uncertainty about how to guide curiosity make it difficult to maintain daily reading, reflection, and conversation.
Meanwhile, current AI tools tend to respond with automatic positivity or provide instant answers. While convenient, this does not help children develop thinking skills, emotional regulation, or genuine curiosity.
Children need an emotionally warm companion who supports learning in a way that feels human, not a screen, not a chatbot, but a presence.
We aim to support children ages 6–12 and their parents by offering a developmental, psychologically informed learning companion to support that enhances daily routines such as homework, bedtime reading and emotional check-ins.

Our concept is “Wonder Homework”, an AI-enabled learning companion that embodies Growth-Oriented AI which support children trying to execute their homework alone, a dialogue model inspired by real educators and counselors.
