CrowdFund is building an equity crowdfunding platform specifically focused on climate and energy solutions from emerging markets. With trillions needed to reach net zero, we’re creating a way for passionate retail investors worldwide to back climate solutions in the regions most impacted by climate change but often underfunded. Our goal is to empower innovators in emerging markets with the early-stage funding they need, while connecting individuals who want their investments to make a measurable impact on the planet. Think of it as a platform that brings the crowd to climate finance, with a purpose as clear as the cause: to make climate solutions accessible, scalable, and truly global.

About the Role

We're seeking collaborators who bring curiosity, insight, and a commitment to closing the climate finance gap. If you’re interested in co-founding, designing, developing, or even just giving feedback, your support and expertise could be invaluable in shaping CrowdFund. We’re looking for thinkers and builders eager to turn the idea into a real, impactful solution. Your insights and experience, no matter the form, could make all the difference.

This project is part of MIT’s Fintech Ventures class, and we’re still early-stage, which means a lot of the roadmap is still open. I'm a physician by training (who stepped away from clinical practice), my background includes building and scaling ventures, and I have the resources and backing to get an MVP out there. But beyond funding or ideas, I’m seeking to build a core team who shares the same belief: that people and purpose are the most defining elements for a startup’s success.
