About the Role

We are seeking a Robot Hardware & Control Engineer who will play a pivotal role in designing and developing mechanical components while also implementing control algorithms for our humanoid robots. This is a cross-disciplinary role that requires expertise in mechanical design, motion planning, and real-time control. You will work closely with our robotics, AI, and hardware teams to bring highly dexterous robots to life. What You'll Do - Design, prototype, and test mechanical components for robot arms, wrists, and other dexterous subsystems. - Develop control algorithms for real-time motion planning, impedance control, and force-based manipulation. - Integrate actuators, sensors, and embedded systems into robotic platforms. - Work on trajectory optimization, path planning, and closed-loop control for humanoid motion. - Collaborate with the software and AI teams to optimize control strategies for dynamic environments. - Conduct hardware validation, simulation, and experimental testing to refine system performance. What We’re Looking For (Soft Requirements) - MS/PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in robot hardware design and motion control (industry or research). - Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and control theory for robotic systems. - Hands-on experience with robotic actuators, servos, and force-torque sensors. - Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS for control development. - Familiarity with simulation tools such as MuJoCo, Gazebo, or Isaac Sim. - Experience with humanoid or bimanual robotic systems is a plus. - A strong passion for building real-world, high-impact robots.
