About the Role

The position is based in France, in the Paris region, near the Stade de France. Proficiency in French is expected to simplify integration and communication within the teams. Compensation is to be discussed, based on a starting salary of €50,000. You have a solid expertise in embedded systems, electronics, computer vision, and robotics. You are proficient in CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks), 3D printing, and sensor integration. Good knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/UDP, UART, USB, CAN, MQTT, Modbus, etc.). Experience in software development (Python, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Azure Cloud) and ROS (a plus). You know how to manage complex technical projects and supervise multidisciplinary teams. You are autonomous, rigorous, methodical, and have a strong analytical and synthesis capacity. As a Robotics and Embedded Systems Engineer, you will lead all activities related to the design, development, and industrialization of our robotic solutions and embedded systems. You will be responsible for the technical and commercial strategy of the business unit while ensuring team management and project profitability. Your Responsibilities: Strategy and Innovation .Define and lead the BU's development strategy in collaboration with management. .Conduct technological and competitive monitoring to identify market opportunities and emerging technologies. .Contribute to the definition of R&D orientations and high value-added innovations. .Represent the entity's expertise within the company and with prospects. Technical Management and Industrialization .Supervise the design, development, and integration phases of robotic solutions and embedded systems. .Ensure the software and hardware architecture of the systems, particularly around Python, C++ languages, and ROS environments. .Ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of products with customer and regulatory requirements. .Provide cutting-edge technical expertise on embedded architectures, artificial intelligence, and system autonomy. Project Management .Manage projects from start to finish. .Ensure compliance with budgets, deadlines, and performance objectives. .Manage the customer relationship from initial contact to project delivery. .Write technical-commercial offers. Team Management and Coordination .Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary team (robotics engineers, developers, etc.). .Support the team's skills development and optimize human and technical resources.
