About the Company/Team

Silvertrain AI is pairing decades of business-building expertise with MIT-trained technical skills in order to help client companies leverage the enormous potential of generative AI technology. We are a consulting firm, founded in February 2024, that aims to enable small and medium sized businesses to successfully incorporate custom AI tools into their workflow by building a holistic understanding of the client’s processes and business roadmap. We pride ourselves on staying up to date in this rapidly developing industry, delivering tangible solutions, and staying engaged with our clients throughout and after the integration process. We have two client projects already underway, and we aim to build up a top-notch team of 15-18 engineers and business experts by the end of 2025.

About the Role

We are looking to hire a CTO to be the fourth member of our core executive team. The CTO will oversee our technology group, including software engineering, machine learning, and data science. The role will report directly to the Head of Product and comes with a meaningful amount of equity. The CTO will be instrumental in influencing the direction of our business strategy and technology vision. Role Requirements: - Machine Learning / AI Engineer with an advanced degree in the field - 3 years of industry experience - Leadership experience (could be a club or informal organization) - Interest in the direction of the industry - Interest in collaborating on business strategy and direction - In-person work based out of San Francisco
