NetaCarbon rebuilds trust in the carbon market by enabling corporate companies to be the creators and financiers of high-quality carbon projects, instead of buying off-the-shelve credits. The SaaS platform helps companies manage their carbon credit inventory and mitigates reputational risks from purchasing existing credits that do not provide such transparency.

About the Role

Founding engineer/co-founder with very strong technical skills in full-stack web app development and experience working in an early-stage startup (founding team or early employee). Someone who can take charge of the entire tech development.

Both co-founders, Mar and Grace, spent 2 years doing customer discovery/research on the carbon market before pursuing NetaCarbon full time, end of 2023. They hold degrees from MIT and Harvard, bringing robust domain expertise and extensive networks within the carbon sector. To date they've spoken with +150 carbon project developers and corporates, scoping 3 projects for companies and built a prototype using low-code tools. They have been speaking with YC Partners, and NetaCarbon is already on their radar.
